Yesterday, Aman Club officially launched the volunteer initiative of the Aman Friends Club, which contributes to spreading the vision and message of the center in protecting women and children and exchanging experiences with specialists in all fields related to the work of the center.

The initiative aims to enable everyone who aspires to volunteer work to cooperate with the center to serve the target groups, according to the volunteers' specializations. The initiative aims also to exchange experiences in the field of protection and social rehabilitation, and implement some activities, awareness campaigns, initiatives, and training programs, in addition to the center's keenness to be closer to the community. Prevention and protection from violence and family breakdown among children and women is an integrated societal responsibility.

The areas of volunteer work are focused on tasks related to the center's work, such as protection and rehabilitation services, which includes providing support in the psychological, social & legal areas, nursing, nutrition, and functional rehabilitation of cases. It also includes other aspects such as public relations, media, awareness, organizing activities and events, in addition to providing courses and workshops for the inmates of Dar Aman.

The center had launched the initiative initially to the audience on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and there was a demand from specialists in many fields to register in the club.

For her part, Hanan Al Ali, Director of Media & Communication department at Aman Center, said: “The center seeks to create more communication channels with the local community to introduce its services and to involve specialists in the experience of social work in order to provide the experience in their fields of expertise for the benefit of the community, which is considered one of the finest volunteer work that many specialists around the world are keen to do.

She added: The idea of the club was born out of the desire of many specialists to work with the center, whether they are individuals specialized in the field of psychiatry and social rehabilitation, or multiple law firms that provide voluntary services to the center, so we decided to organize this aspect in line with the center's directions and open up more experiences for the benefit of all parties."

It is noteworthy that Aman Center is preparing these days to celebrate International Women's Day, which falls on the eighth of next March, by organizing a set of activities that suit its target groups.
